I did suggest they could use it/them for filling the gap where they take the
bladder instead of using abdomen tissue as they have said will happen..
18th Febuary 2012
Well all my tests, poking, prying and all that shit was done in
the past week. The bone marrow biopsy confirmed I have CLL (
Chronic Lymphatic Leukemia) but it will be a 'watch and wait'
option for that problem at present. The conclusion is still for
the big cut. Is to be a 12hr operation involving a number of
different specialists including colorectal surgeon, urologist,
Plastic surgeon, Radiology, Bone quack and anyone else who wants
to dip their fingers in. They are a little concerned that my
heart is not as good as it could be so between now and when it
happens I have to see a cardiologist and perhaps have a heart
pill to reduce the speed at which the ticker ticks and they want
me to get as fit as I possibly can. Obviously that part is
understandable. To achieve that by walking or jogging is going
to cause a lot of pain from my Heel which I smashed from falling
off a ladder in 2007. Sexual activity is out of the question, I
haven't got a bike so riding is not on. Looks like more heel
pain.
The Op is to remove the Prostate, Bladder, Tailbone and radiate
around the area during the operation. The plastic surgeon will
then detach the right side of the 'six pack' ab muscles leaving
them connected at the bottom for blood supply. He will then toss
them in the hole created by the removal of the bladder so all
the intestines don't slosh around in the gap. The urostomy is
then created from a portion of the small intestine and a stoma
created on the right side of my abdomen where I will be able to
attach the collection bag. Another one to compliment the
colostomy one I have on the left side.
